Gardens by the Bay

2 days ago, I visited Gardens by the Bay with 3 noobs - Shan Min, Shi Huan and Hui Kit! The Christmas display was already up so it was quite a good time to go.

Some timer shots taken near the entrance with Huan's camera!!

Punggol Waterway

Shi Huan and I finally had our first outing yesterday! We decided to visit Punggol Waterway to cycle and take photos since she hasn't gone there before.

We wanted to take a photo with the Waterway @ Punggol sign but there was nowhere to place our cameras!! So we decided to take with the back of the sign HAHA.
It was quite hard taking timer photos on the pavement cause a bicycle could run us over any time!!!

USS Adventures

Visited USS with 5 noobs yesterday! I'm not a very huge fan of amusement parks (except for Disneyland) so I rarely visit USS (yesterday was my third time). I was deciding between the one-day pass ($74) and the 6 months season pass ($88) but I decided to go for the latter! You get to go for as many times as you want in 6 months for an additional $14 so why not right!! This sounds like an advert but it's not HAHA.

Going to USS on a weekday morning does have its perks!! We didn't have to queue for any ride (yes, not even the Transformers) all the way until 12 pm when people started coming in. Even after 12 pm, the waiting time for most rides were less than 15 minutes woots! We spent most of the time chasing after characters and not taking rides LOL.

Alexa and Ariel went to take the Battlestar Galactica (Cylon) ride that the rest of us didn't dare to take so we decided to go and take nice photos woo!

HHAHA noob Lee Xin Yi who didn't dare to climb

Haji Lane

Hi again! :~) Yesterday, I went out with Xin Yi to Haji Lane cause we were curious about its popularity among teenagers nowadays haha. Also, I wanted to try out my new camera, a Nikon D5500. Finally can go out photo trips now woohoo!

We wanted to have lunch at Stateland Café but they ran out of pasta. :( Ended up walking for half an hour before finding a very special café, the Lab! It had a science lab theme and was decorated with laboratory equipment like syringes, beakers and test tubes.

Xin Yi's hazelnut chocolate milk and my café mocha, served with adorable syringes containing chocolate syrup!

Beef stew ($17)

Classic beef burger ($13)

The food there was so good and the price was okay for a café I guess :) If you guys are looking for a café which is more special, the Lab would be a good choice.

The Lab

Took some photos while walking back to Haji Lane -

Will try this café next time

Haji Lane was pretty short but we still had a good time eating and talking. Had fun shooting with my new camera and I hope to go on another photo trip with this girl soon! :)

Thanks for reading and see you in the next post!

黄城 2015

Hello!! It's been a long time since I last updated this space :') Hope everyone is still doing well!
Last Friday, we had a SEXAY outing (without Ee Jean) and Zoey came along with us :~)
We started our trip at 313 Somerset, had lunch, then shopped a bit.

@ Cotton On !!

We rushed off to Plaza Sing cause we were scared there would be no more seats for Pitch Perfect 2 hahaha. (Kiasu but worth it)
Ended up slacking there for 1+ hours waiting for our movie to start whoops

Zoois

My original photo series: I don't like my friends

Heu Pitch Perfect 2 was quite good!! Honestly, I enjoyed the performances by Das Sound Machine much more than the Bellas but the performances in the movie were definitely better than the prequel.
After the movie and more shopping (and eating), we made our way to Victoria Theatre to watch our seniors :)

Xin Yi got no chill

Made for SAM

Hey guys!! Hope 2015 has been good to y'all so far(^v^)
Last Friday, instead of having a normal CCA session, we had batch outings! For my batch, we decided to visit the Singapore Art Museum, or SAM for short.

We started off our journey from school and decided to have lunch at Food for Thought, located just beside SAM :)

Playing with Shants' fisheye lens!!
