Yvette : Seoul 2016: Day 4-5

Started off our day with the legendary Macs ahaha.

Our first stop was N Seoul Tower (N 서울타워), also known as Namsan Tower. To get here via train, just alight at Myeongdong station and take exit 3. Walk for about 15 minutes along the street at the right side of Pacific Hotel and you should see the boarding place!!

Once you alight near the tower you see many railings filled with colourful locks!! One is sold for around $5 - $10 depending on the size.

The famous N Seoul Tower!! Apparently you have to pay to go up but we didn't cause we weren't really interested.

We went around to explore and found this great spot that overlooks Seoul's cityscape

After about 2 hours exploring N Seoul Tower, we took the cable car back and went to find lunch.

Stopped by GS25, a convenience store and got this SUPER cute minion chocolate milk!!!

Obviously tasted like normal choco milk la but the bottle is to die for

Had our second fried chicken meal for lunch at Two Two Chicken! Super delicious hehe it was much better than the first fried chicken restaurant we ate at.

Next, we took the train to Ewha Woman's University station. It's a typical shopping street that sells lots of accessories, bags, shoes and clothes.

The university is really pretty and gives off European vibes

We shopped until it was dark and made our way to the most renowned ginseng chicken restaurant in Seoul, Tosokchon. It's located at Gyeongbokgung Palace station.

The whole restaurant is designed like a palace and it's interior resembles a hanok (Korean traditional house). Meaning, we sat on the floor without chairs ahaha it was overall a fresh experience.

Lastly, we visited Lotte Mart located at Seoul station to shop for snacks and tidbits. The place doesn't only sell food but also many skincare products. There's even a Daiso inside!!

Cute thing about Lotte Mart was they provided tapes and boxes for us tourists to pack the stuff we bought so that it was easier to handle at the airport.

Woke up late as usual and had our brunch at Yoogane, situated along the streets of Myeongdong.

Love how in Korean restaurants they do the frying and BBQ-ing for us HAHA great for lazy people like me

The kimchi seafood fried rice was a tad too spicy for me but other than that it was goood

Next, we took the train to Noryangjin station (Exit 1) and visited Noryangjin Fish Market.

We were greeted by lines of stalls selling vegetables and spices

The procedure was to buy our desired seafood downstairs before heading to any of the restaurants upstairs. The chefs will then cook it for us and then we can have our seafood meal!! Thank God there was a nice translator who did pretty much everything for us hehe.

After our seafood adventure, we headed to one of our favourite places in Seoul – Hongdae (Yes, again!!!). This time, our aim was to visit the sheep cafe we missed out the last round.

Shoutout to my favourite jeans store ever!! This store called Rodeo Jeans sells jeans in sooo many different styles and sizes and they mostly cost 18,000 won ($21). The salespersons are also super friendly so I'm definitely gonna come backkk.

Got this pair of imitation New Balance Shoes from Ewha University

Bought this pair of jeans the last time I visited Hongdae. Super comfy I looOOve it!!

Sadly, I couldn't find the exact address of the store but here are some rough directions I managed to find. Come out of Hongdae station exit 9 and turn left at the stairs. Turn right at the second road. The store is near Gong Cha.

Finally, the place I wanted to visit most – Thanks Nature Cafe, otherwise known as the only sheep cafe in Seoul!!

The cafe has 2 super adorable sheep, Lala and Lulu. We came at a time where the cafe was rather quiet so the nice owner let us feed them!!

The place is also really hygienic cause the sheep pen is totally separated from the cafe itself. Apart from playing with the sheep, we had a great tea break there too.
