Streets of Bangkok

Hello guys!! (•͈ᴗ•͈)
As promised, this post is going to be about my most recent trip to Bangkok.
This trip lasted for 5 days and 4 nights, my longest BKK trip ever. The last time I went there was in 2011 and I didn't really enjoy myself cause there wasn't much to see & buy :( Thankfully, I enjoyed my BKK trip thoroughly this time and I won't mind going again!!
(Guess I finally grew up woots)

This time, we stayed in The Berkeley Hotel located in Platunam. It's quite new so many taxi drivers don't know where it is though! We got the corner room which was super spacious yay

Big swimming pool!!! Didn't get a chance to swim here though

Bangkok's hazy situation :-(

Paranomic view of BKK from the hotel!!

Day 1 (29 Nov): Arrival + MBK Center

After arriving at BKK, we met up with the Tham family who accompanied us on the trip before heading to MBK Center.

Tried the signature dessert - Shibuya Honey Toast after lunch
♡ ´・ᴗ・` ♡

We had tea break at Mister Donut, a place that sells cute & delicious donuts!!

Adorable Christmas donuts

Dinner at an Italian-Japanese restaurant

Loots from MBK Center (Mostly food hehe):
Looove these lego thingies

Day 2 (30 Nov): Chatuchak Market + Platinum Mall

Since Chatuchak Market only opens on weekends, Sunday was our only chance to visit. We took a taxi there cause we were lazy to walk to the train station haha. We spent nearly half a day there cause it's huge and there's lots of things to see! The prices are also very reasonable and it's quite easy to bargain there :}

Mom & Auntie Yvonne just before leaving for CM

The market is only open on weekends so it's veryyy crowded

"C for Chatuchak"

Came across this store with cute 100% handmade animal-themed products & a very nice owner
Spotted a little doggy wearing overalls

Weather was crazy hot so we tried the famous coconut ice-cream and it was delicious!!!

Happy dad with the mocha he got from a random cafe
Got a strawberry soda from this small cafe cause the weather was way too hot

Had a late lunch at Platinum Mall and did more shopping :P

Here's what I bought from Chatuchak :0)
Got these 11 bows for about $4 SGD !!!!!

Day 3: Central World + Siam Paragon

Early in the morning, we headed to Central World, a mall that was quite near to our hotel. We walked this time so that we could take more photos!! We got to shop at the huge Isetan there but there wasn't much in my opinion :|

I think this is my fav photo from the whole trip

We got to visit After You, a dessert cafe that was highly recommended by travel blogs!! ٩(˙▿˙)۶…⋆

The Strawberry Fresh Cream Cake was really delicious!! The fluffy & light cream was a great addition to the spongy cake
Hot Cappuccino

Hot Mochaccino

World's Best Iced Chocolate!!!!! They have guts to give this drink such a name but it was indeed smooth and the taste was very rich

Their seasonal special - Coconut Ice-cream with Banana in Chocolate Sauce. According to my mom the coconut ice-cream just tasted like vanilla but it went well with the bananas and sauceeee.

Tried a snowman donut from BKK's Krispy Kreme

Day 4: Platinum Mall

Spent our second last day shopping & eating at Platinum Mall. We finally got to explore every level and found great dealsss :-] We had dinner at Chinatown and enjoyed yummy seafood and bird's nest. (Didn't take any photos there)

Here's all my loots zzz

Day 5: Platinum Mall (Again!!!) + Airport :(

Our flight was quite late in the afternoon so we went to Platinum Mall yet again to get some gifts for friends hehehe. I somehow ended up eating though.

My last Mister Donut /sobs

Dairy Queen Ice-cream @ Airport

I really enjoyed this Bangkok trip (as compared to the previous one) and a huge thank-you to our companions -- the Tham family :D Bangkok is a cool place and I'll definitely go again.

There's only 2 weeks left before school is starting (CUE HOLIDAY BLUES)  T__T  At least from now until the end of Dec there's quite a lot of activities to look forward to… Can't blog about all of them but will try to post more before school reopens :>
Thanks for reading!!!
