Haji Lane

Hi again! :~) Yesterday, I went out with Xin Yi to Haji Lane cause we were curious about its popularity among teenagers nowadays haha. Also, I wanted to try out my new camera, a Nikon D5500. Finally can go out photo trips now woohoo!

We wanted to have lunch at Stateland Café but they ran out of pasta. :( Ended up walking for half an hour before finding a very special café, the Lab! It had a science lab theme and was decorated with laboratory equipment like syringes, beakers and test tubes.

Xin Yi's hazelnut chocolate milk and my café mocha, served with adorable syringes containing chocolate syrup!

Beef stew ($17)

Classic beef burger ($13)

The food there was so good and the price was okay for a café I guess :) If you guys are looking for a café which is more special, the Lab would be a good choice.

Will try this café next time

Haji Lane was pretty short but we still had a good time eating and talking. Had fun shooting with my new camera and I hope to go on another photo trip with this girl soon! :)

Thanks for reading and see you in the next post!

Hongkong' 15 (Day 1 - 3)

Hello! Glad to be able to update this space despite my busy schedule heh. 2 weeks ago, I flew to Hongkong for a short but very enjoyable holiday.
Hope you enjoy this post about my 5 days there!

Day 1 (1 Jun):

This time, we stayed in Royal Plaza Hotel located in Mongkok. We took a taxi from the airport and arrived at the hotel at about 11 am but we could only check in at 3 pm!! So we decided to walk around the area and have lunch before returning to the hotel.

We had lunch at Food Opera in MOKO, a shopping mall linked directly to our hotel! We were quite tired and too lazy to find food so we settled there for lunch :~)

Loveee the milk tea in HK!!!

My favourite beef brisket noodles :-P

Osmanthus jelly for dessert

After our lunch, we finally got to see our hotel room and freshen up a bit.

Warm welcome for us

Panoramic view from our hotel room :) We were facing the swimming pool!

The room was quite spacious and comfortable but I felt that the bed and pillows were slightly too stiff :|

We had dinner at Hong Lin Restaurant, a café we found along the streets of Mongkok. I had a bowl of BBQ pork macaroni which was really good!! I forgot to take a picture of it cause I was too hungry...

Iced lemon tea

We walked down Fa Yuen Street (Flower Garden Street) after filling our tummies to see if we could get any good deals and yes there were a lot! :D They sold almost everything, from clothes to phone covers and everything was super affordable.
Here's some stuff I bought that night -
